सार

सर्वनाम अपनी संज्ञाओं से मेल खाने चाहिए और सही कारक-रूप (कर्ता, कर्म, संबंध, निजवाचक) में होने चाहिए।

मुख्य बिंदु

  • कर्ता रूप: I, he, she, we, they; कर्म रूप: me, him, her, us, them।
  • प्रीपोज़िशन के बाद कर्म रूप प्रयोग करें: "between you and me"।
  • "Who" कर्ता है; "whom" कर्म है।
  • निजवाचक सर्वनाम (myself, themselves) कर्ता की ओर लौटते हैं।
  • अनिश्चयवाचक सर्वनाम (each, everyone, somebody) एकवचन हैं।

व्याख्या

  • तुलना में उपवाक्य पूरा करें: "He is taller than I (am)."
  • जब दो संज्ञाएँ बैठ सकती हों तो अस्पष्ट संदर्भ से बचें।
  • "One" के साथ "one’s" आता है: "One should do one’s duty."
  • "I/me" के स्थान पर "myself" प्रयोग न करें।

  1. पूरा वाक्य पढ़ें।
  2. नियम लगाएँ।
  3. अर्थ के लिए दोबारा पढ़ें।

उदाहरण

  • "Between you and I" → "between you and me"।
  • "Whom did you meet?" सही है (meet का कर्म)।
  • "Each student must bring his or her book." (each के साथ एकवचन सर्वनाम)

ग़लतियों से बचें और उन्नत बिंदु

  • सामान्य भूल: प्रीपोज़िशन के बाद "I" लगाना।
  • सामान्य भूल: "who" को कर्म के रूप में प्रयोग करना।
  • सामान्य भूल: "each" के बाद बहुवचन सर्वनाम।
