सार

कई प्रीपोज़िशन अपने से पहले के शब्द से तय होते हैं; हर बार तर्क लगाने के बजाय प्रचलित युग्म सीखना तेज़ है।

मुख्य बिंदु

  • समय: at (सटीक समय), on (दिन, तिथियाँ), in (महीने, वर्ष, ऋतुएँ)।
  • स्थान: at (बिंदु), in (घिरा हुआ स्थान), on (सतह)।
  • निश्चित युग्म: good at, afraid of, interested in, married to, senior to, prefer to, comply with।
  • दो के बीच between; दो से अधिक के बीच among।
  • समय के बिंदु के साथ "since"; अवधि के साथ "for"।

व्याख्या

  • "Prefer X to Y" — "than" नहीं।
  • "Superior/inferior/senior/junior/prior" के साथ "to" आता है।
  • "discuss", "enter" (कमरे में), "reach" या "attend" के बाद कोई प्रीपोज़िशन नहीं।
  • "Beside" = बगल में; "besides" = इसके अतिरिक्त।

चरण-दर-चरण

  1. पूरा वाक्य पढ़ें और उसका कर्ता, क्रिया और काल पहचानें।
  2. विशिष्ट नियम लगाएँ (सामंजस्य, आर्टिकल, प्रीपोज़िशन, काल)।
  3. सुधरा हुआ वाक्य अर्थ और शैली के लिए दोबारा पढ़ें।

उदाहरण

  • "Ravi is good at coding." (good at — निश्चित युग्म)
  • "She prefers tea to coffee." (prefer … to, than नहीं)
  • "We discussed the plan" ("discussed about" नहीं)।

ग़लतियों से बचें और उन्नत बिंदु

  • सामान्य भूल: discuss के बाद "about" जोड़ना।
  • सामान्य भूल: prefer या senior के बाद "than" प्रयोग करना।
  • सामान्य भूल: beside और besides में भ्रम।

त्वरित पुनरावृत्ति

  • At समय, on दिन, in महीना।
  • Senior/prior/prefer → to।
  • Discuss/reach के बाद कोई प्रीपोज़िशन नहीं।
