सार

लचीले मुद्रास्फीति लक्ष्यीकरण के अंतर्गत मौद्रिक नीति CPI मुद्रास्फीति को 4% के पास रखने के लिए नीतिगत रेपो दर और तरलता साधनों का प्रयोग करती है।

मुख्य बिंदु

• संशोधित RBI अधिनियम (2016) ने छह-सदस्यीय मौद्रिक नीति समिति बनाई; गवर्नर के पास निर्णायक मत है।
• मुद्रास्फीति लक्ष्य (4% CPI, 2–6% का दायरा) केंद्र सरकार RBI के परामर्श से पाँच वर्ष के लिए तय करती है।
• स्थायी जमा सुविधा (SDF, अप्रैल 2022) तरलता गलियारे की निचली सीमा है; सीमांत स्थायी सुविधा (MSF) ऊपरी सीमा है।
• CRR शुद्ध माँग और सावधि देयताओं का वह भाग है जो RBI के पास रखा जाता है और जिस पर ब्याज नहीं मिलता; SLR बैंक तरल परिसंपत्तियों के रूप में रखते हैं।
• खुले बाज़ार की क्रियाएँ टिकाऊ तरलता को समायोजित करती हैं।
• बाहरी बेंचमार्क से जुड़े ऋण (अक्टूबर 2019 से) से संचरण में सुधार हुआ।
