NCERT Class 7 Science, chapter 6. Notes, key terms, important questions with answers and MCQs.
Chapter overview
Adolescence (about 11–19 years) is the period between childhood and adulthood when the body and mind change because of hormones.

- Balanced diet rich in protein, iron (green leafy vegetables, jaggery) and calcium (milk).
- Personal hygiene: daily bath, clean clothes; regular exercise and enough sleep.
- Say no to tobacco, alcohol and drugs; talk to trusted adults about worries.
