National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS)

Who can apply

Class 8 students of government, aided or local-body schools; family income up to ₹3.5 lakh a year; selection test (MAT + SAT) held by your state in Class 8.

Benefit

₹12,000 a year for Classes 9 to 12 (renewed each year on marks).

When to apply

State exam usually Nov–Dec; NSP application after selection
