सार

व्यवस्था पहेलियाँ संकेतों के आधार पर लोगों को पंक्ति में या मेज़ के चारों ओर बैठाती हैं; साफ़ आरेख और संकेतों के प्रयोग का क्रम सफलता तय करते हैं।

मुख्य बिंदु

• पहले निश्चित संकेत प्रयोग करें ("A एक सिरे पर बैठा है", "B बाएँ से तीसरा है")।
• उत्तर की ओर मुख वाली पंक्ति में बाएँ और दाएँ हल करने वाले के अनुसार होते हैं; दक्षिण की ओर मुख होने पर वे उलट जाते हैं।
• केंद्र की ओर मुख वाले वृत्त में "बायाँ" दक्षिणावर्त और "दायाँ" वामावर्त होता है।
• जब कोई संकेत दो स्थान दे, तो दोनों संभावित स्थितियाँ बनाएँ।
• नकारात्मक संकेत ("C, D के पास नहीं है") स्थितियाँ हटाते हैं।

व्याख्या

• "तत्काल पड़ोसी" का अर्थ है बगल वाला; "दाएँ से दूसरा" एक सीट छोड़ता है।
• 6 या 8 के वृत्त में स्थान ध्यान से गिनें।
• हर स्थिति अलग लिखें; जो स्थिति किसी संकेत को तोड़े, उसे काट दें।
• हर संकेत संतुष्ट होने के बाद ही उत्तर दें।

• केंद्र की ओर मुख किए मेज़ के चारों ओर छह लोग: सीट 1 के सामने वाला सीट 4 है।
• यदि केंद्र की ओर मुख वाले वृत्त में P, Q के दाएँ से दूसरा है, तो P, Q से दो सीट वामावर्त बैठता है।
